SharkBite 1/2 x 3/8 Compression Straight Stop, Brass Fittings, PEX Pipe

Make your plumbing projects easier with the SharkBite straight stop valve. This valve, made of durable DZR brass that is lead free, allows for simple shut-off of water flow to the end fixture and enables maintenance and repair without turning off the water to the entire home. It can be easily connected to fixtures with copper crimp rings or stainless steel clamps, without the need for glue, soldering, or crimping. The minimum working temperature for this water service coupling valve is 33 degrees F at 160 psi, and the maximum working temperature is 200 degrees F at 80 psi.

The SharkBite system now includes chrome plated stops for connecting fixture supply lines to PEX tubing. These stops combine PEX/Barb connectors and common supply line connectors into a single fitting. The chrome finish looks great, and these fittings provide an easy way to connect supply lines and fixtures to PEX plumbing systems, just like other SharkBite PEX/Barb products.

The brass crimp water supply valve makes it easy to shut off water flow to the end fixture and allows for maintenance and repair without turning off the water to the entire home.
